Position Overview: The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the full recruitment life cycle, from workforce planning and candidate sourcing through hiring and onboarding. This role partners closely with hiring managers to attract, assess, and onboard qualified talent while ensuring compliance with employment regulations and internal policies. In addition to recruiting, the position supports core human resources functions, including employee data management, payroll coordination, and HR process administration, contributing to efficient and compliant HR operations.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, role requirements, and hiring timelines

Develop, post, and manage job postings across multiple recruitment platforms

Source candidates through job boards, professional networks, referrals, and other channels

Maintain and manage candidate pipelines throughout the recruitment process

Screen resumes and conduct initial phone or video interviews

Coordinate and facilitate interview processes with hiring teams

Evaluate candidates and provide hiring recommendations
-
Prepare offer letters and coordinate pre-employment activities, including background checks and reference verification
-
Support onboarding activities, including orientation scheduling, system access, and equipment coordination

Partner with managers to support structured onboarding plans and monitor new hire progress

Collect and analyze feedback to improve recruitment and onboarding effectiveness
Human Resources Operations

Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and organizational policies

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within the HRIS and related tracking systems

Process payroll data and support accurate and timely employee compensation
-
Manage employee documentation and digital personnel files
-
Process unemployment claims and support related administrative requirements

Assist with HR reporting, audits, and data accuracy initiatives
Qualifications
-
5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or human resources
-
Knowledge of full-cycle recruiting best practices
- Experience with HRIS platforms and payroll systems
- Experience with ADP preferred

Strong interviewing, candidate assessment, and communication skills
-
Working knowledge of employment laws, compliance requirements, and I-9 verification
-
High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills
