Talent Acquisition Manager
Position Overview: We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager to lead and build our recruiting function. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys recruiting, building relationships, developing new sourcing strategies, and improving hiring processes.
You will work closely with the Director of Human Resources and hiring managers across the organization to attract, hire, and onboard great employees.
The role supports a workforce across retail, manufacturing, and corporate operations, with a strong focus on high-volume hourly hiring.
Key Responsibilities
Recruiting & Hiring

Manage full-cycle recruiting for retail, manufacturing, and corporate positions.

Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and define job requirements.

Source candidates through job boards, networking, referrals, community partnerships, and direct outreach.

Build talent pipelines for high-volume and hard-to-fill positions.

Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.

Prepare and extend offers within approved compensation ranges.

Support leadership and executive searches as needed.
Applicant Tracking & Hiring Process

Manage the applicant tracking system and keep candidate information accurate and up to date.

Create and maintain interview guides, scorecards, and recruiting workflows.

Screen applications and resumes based on established qualifications.

Track candidates through each stage of the hiring process.

Maintain consistent communication with candidates and hiring managers.
Onboarding

Lead weekly new hire orientation at the corporate office.

Coordinate offer letters, background checks, I-9s, and other required new hire paperwork.

Help ensure new employees are prepared for their first day.
Sourcing & Talent Partnerships

Develop recruiting partnerships with schools, workforce programs, cannabis and horticulture organizations, veterans' organizations, and community groups.

Build and manage an employee referral program.

Develop relationships with community and industry partners to create ongoing talent pipelines.

Represent the organization at recruiting events, career fairs, and community activities.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.

3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably including high-volume hourly hiring.

Strong sourcing and candidate relationship-building skills.

Experience using an applicant tracking system and recruiting technology.

Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through.

Comfortable conducting presentations and leading new hire orientation.

Ability to manage multiple open positions and priorities at the same time.

Experience building recruiting programs, partnerships, or talent pipelines is a plus.

Experience with structured interviews, scorecards, or competency-based hiring is preferred

Must meet applicable background screening requirements.

Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional regional travel.
