Senior Talent Manager

Position Overview: Our client is seeking a Senior Talent Manager to lead strategic, full-cycle recruitment efforts for leadership and operational roles across a growing infrastructure and construction-focused organization. This role goes beyond traditional recruiting by building long-term talent pipelines, supporting workforce development initiatives, and partnering closely with operational leadership to identify and attract top talent. The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, proactive, and passionate about building strong teams and culture.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for leadership, operational, and other senior-level positions
  • Build proactive talent pipelines and develop long-term recruiting strategies aligned with business growth
  • Conduct national and multi-market searches for hard-to-fill roles
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and operational leaders on staffing strategy and workforce planning
  • Identify workforce gaps and succession planning needs
  • Support internship and early-career development initiatives
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and workforce development programs to strengthen recruiting networks and employer branding
  • Develop sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, direct outreach, and Boolean search techniques
  • Facilitate structured interview processes and support hiring managers throughout candidate evaluation and selection
  • Lead offer development and candidate closing efforts
  • Ensure a positive and professional experience for candidates and internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of recruiting processes and workforce development initiatives
 
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of talent acquisition experience within construction, infrastructure, or related industries
  • Proven experience recruiting Project Manager-level and above positions
  • Experience supporting national or multi-market recruiting efforts
  • Strong sourcing and recruiting strategy experience, including LinkedIn Recruiter and direct outreach methods
  • Knowledge of construction and infrastructure operations preferred
  • Familiarity with union and non-union environments preferred
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build recruiting processes and pipelines
  • High level of professionalism, accountability, and urgency
  • Ability to travel approximately 20–30% as needed
