Senior People & Talent Manager

Position Overview: The Senior People & Talent Manager plays a key role in advancing a people-first culture and executing core people programs across the organization. This role partners closely with business and operational leaders to support workforce readiness, leadership effectiveness, and a positive employee experience. The position focuses on translating people strategies into practical, consistent action while reinforcing fair, thoughtful practices aligned with organizational priorities.
 
Key Responsibilities
Culture, Leadership & Employee Experience
  • Support and reinforce a people-first culture through consistent practices and strong leadership partnership
  • Partner with leaders to strengthen trust, communication, and accountability across teams
  • Serve as a trusted resource for leaders and employees
People Strategy & Execution
  • Execute people and talent initiatives aligned with enterprise direction
  • Partner with leaders on workforce planning, staffing decisions, and leadership development
Organization & Compensation Support
  • Support organizational structure by defining roles and clarifying career paths
  • Assist with compensation processes, including benchmarking, pay adjustments, and promotions
Employee Relations & Leader Support
  • Guide leaders on employee relations matters, ensuring fair, timely, and consistent resolution
Talent Development & Performance
  • Support onboarding, performance management, and leadership development programs
Integration & Systems
  • Assist with integration efforts by supporting implementation of people practices
  • Promote effective use of HR systems and tools
Insights & Risk Awareness
  • Monitor people-related data and trends and escalate risks or concerns as appropriate
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
  • Advanced degree and/or HR certification preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR or people and talent experience
  • Experience supporting multi-site or operationally complex organizations preferred
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and compliance
  • Ability to partner with leaders and influence outcomes without direct authority
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • High level of integrity, judgment, and discretion in handling sensitive matters
