Position Summary: The Senior Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in advancing the business by overseeing the creation and execution of marketing strategies. This position involves the development of core product messaging, sales enablement, market intelligence, and customer insights, all in support of driving strategic market sales goals. The Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for identifying key market trends, customer needs, and opportunities, and translating these insights into go-to-market strategies that can be executed by cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and design.
This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of market dynamics, and the ability to quickly apply new insights to messaging and content development. Additionally, the Senior Marketing Manager will play a key role in developing sales enablement materials and supporting the overall success of marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Identify customer needs, market trends, and key personas to develop differentiated positioning and messaging.
- Collaborate with sales and development teams to translate product features into customer-focused messaging.
- Develop clear and compelling product feature narratives with a focus on customer benefits.
- Create high-impact customer-facing materials such as solution sheets, infographics, emails, social posts, knowledge articles, ebooks, and case studies.
- Plan, execute, and optimize marketing campaigns to maximize market penetration and sales impact.
- Analyze campaign data to inform adjustments and optimize lead generation efforts.
- Conduct market and customer research to stay informed on industry trends and uncover new opportunities.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration between sales and marketing teams, tracking accountability and ensuring successful execution of initiatives.
- Set clear, measurable goals, track performance, and conduct post-campaign analyses to drive continuous improvement.
- Act as a project manager to oversee key initiatives, working with creative teams, leadership, and external resources.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of how to translate market buyer’s pain points into effective solutions.
- Proven experience in marketing or advertising, with a focus on go-to-market messaging, planning, and execution.
- Expertise in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, email campaigns, and analytics tools.
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, design, and development.
- Demonstrated success in go-to-market messaging and content creation.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for design and effective messaging.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience managing industry events, as necessary.
- Ability to adapt and support other departmental needs as the business requires.
