Senior Accountant
Position Overview: The Senior Accountant plays a key role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial data across multiple entities. This position is responsible for maintaining financial records, supporting financial reporting, performing complex reconciliations, and contributing to the overall success of the accounting function. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities

Provide timely and accurate accounting support across multiple entities, contributing to financial statement preparation and reporting

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including vendor payments and transaction documentation

Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activity

Perform routine and complex reconciliations of balance sheet and income statement accounts, including cash, debt, revenue, and expense accounts

Manage fixed asset accounting activities, including capital projects, depreciation, and asset tracking

Execute month-end close procedures and support financial statement reviews and audits

Prepare financial reports, analyses, and other accounting-related reporting as needed

Maintain data accuracy across ERP systems and financial reporting platforms

Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and complex financial issues

Support accounting activities related to entity integrations, acquisitions, and high-volume transactions

Assist with the development and improvement of internal controls, policies, and accounting procedures

Serve as a technical accounting resource and provide guidance on GAAP-related matters
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred

3+ years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting experience preferred

CPA designation preferred

Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles

Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close processes

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience working with multiple entities, acquisitions, or complex accounting environments is a plus
