Sales Analyst
Position Overview: The Sales Analyst is responsible for transforming sales, marketing, customer, and market data into actionable insights that drive revenue growth, sales effectiveness, and customer retention. This role partners closely with sales, marketing, product, and operational teams to identify opportunities, improve processes, develop reporting solutions, and support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate is analytical, business-minded, and skilled at turning complex data into meaningful recommendations.
Key Responsibilities

Analyze sales, marketing, customer, and market data to identify trends, opportunities, and business risks

Develop account targeting strategies, customer profiles, and sales playbooks to support revenue growth initiatives

Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business objectives and deliver data-driven reporting solutions

Evaluate sales processes and workflows to identify bottlenecks and improve pipeline efficiency

Analyze customer, product, competitive, and market dynamics and provide actionable recommendations to leadership

Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, KPIs, and data visualizations using Power BI and other reporting tools

Utilize CRM data to support sales strategy, forecasting, customer segmentation, and opportunity management

Recommend improvements to customer data collection, data quality, and reporting processes

Research and evaluate external data sources to support market analysis, prospect identification, and business development initiatives

Support sales enablement, marketing programs, and customer feedback analysis through data-driven insights

Participate in data governance efforts to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems

Assist with special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, or related field required; MBA or master's degree a plus

5+ years of experience in sales analysis, business analytics, forecasting, reporting, or CRM analysis

Experience supporting sales teams and revenue-generating functions

Strong proficiency with Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and CRM platforms such as Salesforce or similar systems

Foundational SQL skills required

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative abilities with a keen attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Self-motivated, collaborative, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment

Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering accurate and actionable insights

Power BI Data Analyst certification or equivalent strongly preferred
