IT Release Manager 1
Job Summary: The IT Release Manager is responsible for managing telecommunications discovery and implementation projects within defined timeframes. This includes VoIP initiatives, branch deployments, and various voice services projects. The role involves gathering business requirements, conducting solution design reviews, and collaborating with business continuity teams. The Release Manager provides technical support, business analysis, and consulting for voice technology-related projects. Additionally, this position works closely with operations personnel, external vendors, and telecom carriers to ensure successful project execution. This is a year-long contract position.
Key Responsibilities:

Organize and manage telecommunications release activities, ensuring dependency management and adherence to schedules.

Maintain release documentation and monitor upcoming telecom maintenance tasks.

Collaborate with team members and vendors to execute release plans effectively.

Follow established release and change management processes.

Track progress and report status to internal and external stakeholders.

Conduct discovery efforts to design voice service solutions for various locations.

Provide analytical, technical, and administrative support for telecom projects from planning through implementation.

Monitor voice system performance, troubleshoot issues, and escalate maintenance needs.

Analyze telecom usage and expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend improvements.

Manage and coordinate resources throughout project phases and recommend additional needs when necessary.

Create and maintain telephony solution documentation and assist with end-user training.

Stay current with telecommunications technology advancements and industry trends.
Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience with telecommunication systems, Contact Center, or IVR.

Experience in technology services, system installation with vendor training, VoIP integration, disaster recovery development, and telephony products.
