Human Resources Manager
Position Overview: The Human Resources Manager serves as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing expertise in workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, and organizational development. This role leads HR Business Partner teams and training teams to align workforce capabilities with business objectives and foster a culture of engagement, development, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership

Partner with executive and division leaders to assess workforce capabilities and align HR initiatives with operational goals.

Provide insight on organizational health, leadership effectiveness, and employee engagement.
Talent Management & Development

Lead talent management initiatives, including succession planning, leadership coaching, and career development programs.

Oversee training programs and manage the learning management system to address skill gaps and workforce needs.

Collaborate with talent acquisition on selection and onboarding strategies.

Identify and pursue workforce development grants and partnerships with educational institutions.
Employee Relations & Engagement

Manage and mentor HR Business Partners to ensure consistent employee relations practices.

Provide guidance on employee communications, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.

Support initiatives that promote employee appreciation, engagement, and retention.
Performance Management

Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, coaching, and disciplinary actions.

Advise leaders on performance improvement plans and strategies to drive accountability and retention.
Compliance & Culture

Support environmental, health, and safety (EHS) compliance through leadership engagement, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure adherence to employment laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Support corporate social responsibility and community engagement activities.

Promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.

SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of HR experience, including at least 5 years in HR leadership.
- Industrial or manufacturing industry experience a plus.

Proven success in talent development, employee relations, and change management.

Strong knowledge of employment laws (EEO, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, etc.); familiarity with OFCCP regulations preferred.

Experience with HRIS, performance management, and learning management systems.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Demonstrated ability to think strategically and foster collaboration across teams.
