Human Resource Manager
Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resource Manager to lead a small, high-impact team in delivering people-focused HR operations. The ideal candidate is proactive, service-oriented, and confident in making thoughtful, data-informed decisions. This hybrid role requires in-office presence two days per week.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead all aspects of HR operations, including employee relations, compliance, benefits, and policy development across a multi-state organization

Oversee the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, performance management, and offboarding

Drive HR strategy by setting team KPIs, improving cross-functional processes, and implementing forward-thinking initiatives

Serve as a trusted advisor to staff at all levels, offering empathetic, expert support on HR matters

Manage benefits administration, including open enrollment, leave programs, and retirement plans

Support employee immigration processes in coordination with legal counsel

Promote a values-driven, compliant, and inclusive workplace culture

Conduct regular HR audits to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with federal and state laws

Address employee relations matters with professionalism and discretion

Oversee HRIS systems, reporting, and data-driven process improvements

Maintain up-to-date, legally compliant handbooks and internal HR policies
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

5+ years of progressive HR experience across core functions

Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills

Proficient in HR technologies and systems

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience leading or mentoring HR team members

Knowledge of immigration and work authorization processes (e.g., H1B, E3, TN visas)

HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR)
