HRIS Specialist

Position Overview: Our client is seeking an HRIS Specialist to support and enhance HR systems, reporting, and data integrity for a growing, multi-location organization. This role will serve as the primary resource for HRIS administration, system optimization, reporting, and process improvements while partnering with HR leadership to strengthen employee engagement and support organizational growth. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and enjoys leveraging technology to improve both HR operations and the employee experience.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain the HRIS, ensuring data accuracy, security, and system integrity
  • Develop, maintain, and analyze HR reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Support HR system implementations, enhancements, upgrades, and integrations
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to improve HR processes and workflows
  • Lead and support employee engagement and culture initiatives that foster a positive workplace environment
  • Assist with onboarding and employee experience programs to support engagement and retention
  • Ensure accurate employee data management and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Support acquisitions by integrating employee data and HR processes into existing systems
  • Troubleshoot HRIS issues and provide training and support to HR users
  • Identify opportunities for automation, reporting enhancements, and continuous process improvement
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field preferred
  • 3+ years of HRIS, HR Operations, or HR Analytics experience
  • Experience supporting HRIS implementations, system enhancements, and data integrations
  • Experience leading or supporting employee engagement and culture initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of HR systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience building HR metrics, dashboards, and KPIs
  • Experience supporting multi-location or rapidly growing organizations preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
  • Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
