HR Generalist / Recruiter

Position Overview: Our client is seeking an HR Generalist / Recruiter to support the organization's continued growth by leading full-cycle recruitment while providing hands-on human resources support throughout the employee lifecycle. This role will focus primarily on recruiting project managers, professional staff, and field personnel while also overseeing onboarding, safety coordination, training, and employee engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. Candidates with a strong recruiting background or a blended HR Generalist/Talent Acquisition skill set are encouraged to apply.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for professional, field, and leadership positions
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies and identify top talent
  • Source, screen, interview, and coordinate the hiring process from offer through onboarding
  • Manage new hire onboarding to ensure a positive employee experience and successful integration
  • Coordinate safety orientation, training, and compliance documentation for new employees
  • Support employee relations, HR administration, and day-to-day HR initiatives
  • Assist with employee engagement, retention, and development programs
  • Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices
  • Build strong relationships with employees and leaders to support workforce growth and organizational success
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
  • 3+ years of recruiting or Human Resources experience with strong full-cycle recruiting expertise
  • Construction or related industry experience strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of onboarding, employee relations, and HR best practices
  • Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growing organization
  • Experience supporting both talent acquisition and HR generalist functions is highly desirable
