Human Resources Associate

Position Overview: Our client is seeking an HR Associate who thrives on variety and momentum. This role is a trusted partner owning regional, multi-location HR administration — onboarding, background checks, status changes, integrations, tier one performance management, offboarding, and unemployment — while helping the HR Business Partner keep compliance airtight across a fast-growing footprint. Key Responsibilities
Site & Location Integrations
  • Support new location integrations, including HRIS setup, data imports, and onboarding coordination
  • Serve as a point of contact for payroll and HR-related questions during integrations
  • Maintain integration and compliance checklists to ensure a smooth transition process
Onboarding & New Hire Administration
  • Manage onboarding activities for new hires across multiple locations
  • Process new hires in the HRIS and ensure completion of background checks, I-9s, and E-Verify requirements
  • Interpret employment agreements to ensure accurate payroll and time-off administration
HR Administration & Compliance
  • Maintain HRIS data and employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal and state requirements
  • Respond to employment verifications, unemployment claims, and employee HR inquiries
  • Conduct regular HRIS audits and maintain data integrity
  • Support compliance initiatives, annual training requirements, and HR-related reporting
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information and records
Reporting, Projects & Process Improvement
  • Generate ad hoc reports, analytics, and workforce data to support business decisions
  • Assist with employee lifecycle initiatives, including engagement surveys, performance reviews, and exit/stay interviews
  • Update and maintain HR policies, procedures, and SOP documentation
  • Recommend process improvements and support implementation of new HR systems and programs
  • Participate in special projects and other HR initiatives as needed
 
 
Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree in Human Resources Management or related field
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Human Resources or administrative role
  • Strong customer service focus required
  • Exceptional critical and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Energized by a fast-paced, dynamic, startup-style environment where priorities can shift quickly
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience ensuring compliance while meeting deadlines
  • Experience with an HRIS platform; Paycor or Paychex a plus
  • Ability to analyze and present information so that it is understood by everyone within the organization
