Financial Reporting Analyst
Position Overview: The Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and maintaining accurate financial and regulatory reporting. This role supports compliance, financial statement preparation, data analysis, reconciliations, and reporting processes while ensuring adherence to applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in financial reporting within a banking or financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and submit accurate financial and regulatory reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Interpret reporting requirements and prepare supporting schedules and documentation.

Aggregate, analyze, and validate financial data from multiple sources.

Reconcile regulatory and financial reports to the general ledger and financial statements.

Maintain reporting documentation, reconciliations, and internal controls.

Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes related to financial reporting.

Research new reporting requirements and implement necessary changes.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.

Partner with internal teams to ensure data integrity and reporting consistency.

Support internal and external audits, examinations, and compliance reviews.

Perform special projects and other reporting-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

3+ years of accounting, financial reporting, or related experience.

Banking or financial services experience preferred.

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation.

Experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, and data analysis.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to interpret accounting and reporting requirements and apply them accurately.

Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
