Finance Director
Position Overview: Our client is seeking a Finance Director to serve as a strategic business partner and senior finance leader within a growing, multi-entity organization. This role combines financial planning and analysis, technical accounting, operational finance, and strategic decision support to help drive business growth and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on leader with experience supporting executive leadership through budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, process improvements, and acquisition-related initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, variance analysis, and executive financial reporting

Partner with executive leadership to translate business strategies into financial plans, operating metrics, and actionable insights

Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives, profitability analysis, capital allocation, and business planning

Support mergers and acquisitions, including financial due diligence, integration planning, purchase accounting coordination, and synergy tracking

Prepare executive, Board, and lender reporting packages with accurate financial analysis and recommendations

Drive cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and overall financial performance

Improve financial reporting processes, systems, and controls to increase efficiency, scalability, and transparency

Partner cross-functionally with operations, HR, technology, and business leaders to support organizational objectives

Develop and mentor a high-performing finance team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Support special projects and strategic initiatives as the organization continues to grow
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required; MBA a plus

CPA certification a plus

10+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, corporate finance, transaction support, or related leadership roles

Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, executive reporting, and business partnering

Experience supporting multi-entity or high-growth organizations preferred

Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and post-acquisition integrations is highly desirable

Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and operational finance

Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ability to influence senior leadership while balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution
