This position is crucial for maintaining the financial health and strategic growth of the company, 100% onsite to begin. Possibility of 1 day or so remote once fully trained. NetSuite a strong plus. Understanding of cost accounting. Willingness to be hands on/ in the daily detail as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Process Improvement
- System Implementation: Oversee the completion and optimization of NetSuite.
- Operational Metrics and Benchmarks: Develop and track metrics that support departmental and organizational goals.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to GAAP, tax regulations, and other financial compliance requirements. Maintain internal controls and safeguard assets.
- Financial Management: Oversee accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems. Manage the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with department leaders to refine budgeting processes and conduct variance analysis.
- Inventory Management: Supervise the cycle inventory count process, ensuring accuracy in data and costing.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years in accounting with a proven track record in leadership roles. Experience in manufacturing and cost accounting is advantageous.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in NetSuite is highly desirable.
- Certifications: Professional certifications such as CMA or CPA are a plus.
- Compliance Knowledge: In-depth understanding of finance laws, accounting standards (GAAP), and tax regulations.
- Leadership and Communication: Ability to lead a team, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and present financial information clearly.
