Business Development Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to identify and pursue strategic growth opportunities, cultivate key industry relationships, and support market expansion efforts. This role requires a strong blend of market intelligence, technical understanding, and cross-functional collaboration to drive long-term business success.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new business opportunities across targeted markets and applications.
  • Build and maintain relationships with contractors, engineering firms, and project stakeholders.
  • Develop business cases for strategic initiatives based on customer insights and market trends.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including operations, supply chain, and sales to align offerings with market needs.
  • Support the development and execution of market entry and expansion strategies.
  • Monitor competitive activity, emerging technologies, and industry trends to inform strategy.
  • Represent the organization at industry events and customer meetings to enhance visibility and network growth.
  • Contribute to pricing strategies, service offerings, and contract negotiations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within construction or related sectors.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale projects from bid to execution.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to build compelling business cases.
  • Familiarity with technical aspects of construction materials and infrastructure project cycles.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across functions.
  • Willingness to travel regionally (~50-60%).
