Payroll Specialist
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is responsible for accurate and timely multi-state payroll processing for approximately 500 employees across multiple states. The ideal candidate has hands-on payroll experience in a healthcare, outpatient clinic, or physician practice setting.
Key Responsibilities

Process multi-state payroll for approximately 500 employees across multiple states.

Review employee hours, earnings, deductions, benefits, and payroll adjustments for accuracy.

Maintain accurate employee payroll records and documentation.

Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries.

Ensure payroll is processed accurately and according to established deadlines.

Support payroll reporting, reconciliations, and compliance requirements.

Partner with HR and other departments to maintain accurate payroll information.
Qualifications

Healthcare, outpatient clinic, or physician practice payroll experience required.

Multi-state payroll processing experience required.

Experience processing payroll for a mid-to-large employee population.

ADP payroll experience preferred but not required.

Strong knowledge of payroll processes and regulations.

Excellent attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.

Ability to manage deadlines and handle confidential information appropriately.
