Administrative Assistant

Position Overview: The Administrative Assistant will play a key role in supporting the attorney and staff with administrative and legal tasks in a small law firm environment. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a close-knit office environment and has strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the attorney’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, court dates, and client appointments
  • Assist with billing and time entry; prepare and send invoices to clients
  • Maintain organized files and ensure proper documentation
  • Answer phones, greet clients, and handle correspondence in a professional manner
  • Assist with drafting simple correspondence or forms as needed
  • Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day office operations
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a law office or as a paralegal/administrative assistant preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal billing software (or willingness to learn)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Reliable, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a small office environment
