Accounting Manager

Position Overview: Our client is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the global financial consolidation process and ensure the accuracy and integrity of consolidated financial statements. This role partners closely with corporate accounting, tax, treasury, and business unit teams to support timely reporting, complex accounting activities, and continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise, consolidation experience, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee monthly consolidation of financial results across multiple entities
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, and equity roll forwards
  • Manage intercompany eliminations, related party reconciliations, and foreign currency revaluations
  • Prepare consolidation journal entries and support general accounting activities related to consolidations
  • Coordinate financial submissions and close timelines with business unit accounting teams
  • Maintain and manage consolidation systems, including data loads, mappings, and system tie-outs
  • Support integration of acquisitions and divestitures within consolidation processes
  • Prepare and review roll forwards for equity, fixed assets, goodwill, leases, and debt
  • Manage audit support related to consolidation and equity accounting
  • Support financial reporting, including footnote disclosures and regulatory filings
  • Prepare equity and stock compensation accounting, including issuances, vesting, and related entries
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Collaborate with finance systems teams on system updates and enhancements
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s degree preferred
  • CPA or equivalent certification preferred
  • 5–8 years of experience in public accounting and/or private industry, with consolidation, corporate accounting, and SEC experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and consolidation principles
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial software (e.g., OneStream, Oracle, SAP, or similar)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Demonstrated leadership and team collaboration abilities
