Accounting Administrator

Position Overview: This position provides administrative and accounting support to the Finance Department, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and general Accounting functions. The role also includes front desk responsibilities such as answering phones, greeting guests, and managing incoming mail. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to delivering excellent service in a fully onsite work environment. This is a temp-to-hire position, with flexibility in part-time or full-time hours. 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer and route incoming calls; greet and assist visitors
  • Distribute incoming mail and log compliance-related correspondence
  • Set up new customers and update vendor/customer master data in ERP system
  • Maintain and track customer sales tax certificates and assist with sales tax credit processing
  • Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams with administrative tasks
  • Assist with reconciliation of credit card transactions and compliance-related filings
  • Coordinate meeting scheduling and assist with review of daily branch paperwork
  • Contribute to department projects and support leadership as needed
Qualifications:
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in an accounting or finance support role
  • Associate’s degree or higher preferred
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and customer service focus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with Dynamics 365 preferred 
  • Familiarity with tax compliance processes is a plus
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and ability to work independently or collaboratively
