Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join a close-knit accounting team. This role will take ownership of key accounts receivable and billing functions, including monthly invoicing and check processing. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background and hands-on experience with Viewpoint ProContractor.

This role will take ownership of key accounts receivable and billing functions, including monthly invoicing and check processing. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background and hands-on experience with Viewpoint ProContractor.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage accounts receivable activities
- Prepare and process monthly customer invoicing
- Process checks and accurately record payments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date AR and billing records
- Research and resolve billing and payment discrepancies
- Monitor outstanding receivables and support timely collection efforts
- Reconcile AR-related accounts and assist with month-end activities
- Ensure accuracy and consistency across billing and payment processes
- Collaborate with other members of the accounting team and provide support as needed
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong focus on accounts receivable and billing
- Viewpoint ProContractor software experience
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable, invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliation
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to independently manage responsibilities and prioritize deadlines
- Comfortable working in a small, collaborative accounting team
